Terms
Terms of Service
The deal between you and us. Short sentences, no traps.
Last updated: 21 August 2026
1. The agreement
These terms are between you and TradeWrapt Pty Ltd (ABN 00 000 000 000). By creating an account or using the app, the web dashboard or this site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use TradeWrapt.
You need to be at least 18 and using TradeWrapt for a business or trade. One account is for one operator.
2. What TradeWrapt is
TradeWrapt is a record-keeping and invoicing tool. It stores photos and notes against a job, locks them when you mark the job complete, produces an invoice, and helps you collect payment.
TradeWrapt is not legal advice, accounting advice or tax advice. We are not your lawyer and we are not your bookkeeper. If a job goes sideways, get proper advice.
3. Your subscription
- TradeWrapt is free for the first 30 days.
- After that it is $29 per month, in Australian dollars.
- Billing runs through the App Store or Google Play, depending on where you installed the app. They take the payment, not us, and their billing terms apply.
- The subscription renews each month until you cancel. Cancel through your App Store or Google Play account settings. We cannot cancel it for you.
- Cancel and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
- If we change the price, we will tell you before it takes effect and you can cancel before it does.
If your subscription lapses, your data does not vanish. You may lose the ability to create new jobs or send invoices until you resubscribe.
4. Payments through Stripe
Payment links and Tap to Pay are processed by Stripe. You will need a Stripe account, and your use of it is governed by Stripe's own terms and fees. Stripe decides whether to accept you as a merchant, handles card data, and settles funds to your bank account.
We do not hold your money. We do not handle chargebacks, refunds or disputes with cardholders. That is between you, your client and Stripe. Bank deposit details shown on an invoice are details you entered, and payments to them are entirely between you and your client.
5. Your invoices, your tax
You are responsible for everything on your invoices. That includes prices, quantities, your ABN, your GST registration status, whether GST should be charged, and whether the document meets the ATO's requirements for a tax invoice.
TradeWrapt calculates GST as one eleventh of a GST-inclusive total when you have told us you are registered. It is arithmetic, not tax advice. Check your own numbers and lodge your own BAS.
6. Evidence locking is a feature, not a certification
When you complete a job, the photos and notes attached to it are locked by database rules so they cannot be edited or deleted afterwards, and anything added later is flagged as added after completion. That is a real technical control and we stand behind how it works.
It is not a legal certification, a forensic audit, a digital signature service or a guarantee of anything. We do not promise that a court, tribunal, insurer or client will accept a TradeWrapt record, and we do not promise any outcome in any dispute. What you photograph, what you write, and when you press Complete are up to you.
7. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Use TradeWrapt to record anything unlawful, or to harass, stalk or intimidate anyone.
- Photograph people or private property without a proper reason connected to the job.
- Upload malware, or try to break, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service.
- Access another account, or try to get around row-level security or the locking rules.
- Resell TradeWrapt or share one account across multiple operators.
- Issue invoices for work you have not done.
We can suspend or close an account that breaches this section.
8. Your content
Your jobs, photos, notes and client records are yours. You keep ownership. You give us the limited permission we need to store them, back them up, sync them between your devices, show them to you, and put them into the PDFs and invoices you generate. Nothing else.
You are responsible for having the right to record what you record, and for keeping your own copies of anything you need long term. Export the evidence PDF for anything that matters.
9. Availability
Jobs, photos and notes work offline and sync when you have signal. Invoicing, payments and the web dashboard need a connection, and depend on Stripe and Supabase being up.
We do not promise uninterrupted service. We will do maintenance, sometimes at short notice, and we will try to keep it out of business hours.
10. Changes to the service
We will keep improving TradeWrapt. Features may change. If we remove something you rely on, we will give you reasonable notice and, where it matters, a way to get your data out. If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
11. Termination
You can stop at any time: cancel the subscription in the store and delete your account in Settings. Deleting your account deletes your jobs, including locked evidence, so export anything you need first.
We can suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if your payments fail, or if we are required to. Unless the breach is serious, we will contact you first and give you a chance to sort it out.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Beyond those non-excludable rights, and to the extent the law allows: TradeWrapt is provided as it is; we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or the outcome of any dispute with a client; and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period.
We are not liable for the acts of Stripe, Apple, Google or Supabase, or for a client refusing to pay you.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes go to the courts of Victoria. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms, billing or your account go through our contact page.
